Welcome from SLS Ambassadors

Leadership Studies is loaded with opportunities for any K-State student! Not only is it a perfect way to get involved on campus, but it is a large, diverse community with a close family feel. Look around our website to find something perfect for you! Being an Ambassador for the School of Leadership Studies has made my K-State experience meaningful and unforgettable. Ambassadors has given me a chance to put my leadership skills to use in my community as well as connect with outstanding students and faculty, K-State administration, student organizations, and prospective students and parents. It is an absolute privilege to work with such an ambitious and unique group of student representatives.

The SLSA Purpose

“The purpose of this organization is to recruit students into the Leadership Studies minor, to develop campus and community leadership, and to promote the mission and goals of the School of Leadership Studies.”

K-State’s School of Leadership Studies Ambassadors represent students enrolled in the Leadership Studies minor and promote the School of Leadership Studies to current and prospective students at events such as Summer Orientation, College Nights, and the Academic Majors Fair.

Recruit. Develop. Promote.

A team of 30 ambassadors help faculty and staff share the benefits of Leadership Studies. In addition to discussing how the Leadership Studies minor can benefit students, the Ambassadors publicize upcoming programs and special events. The Ambassadors also provide continual feedback to faculty and staff and represent student interests and concerns. New Ambassadors are selected each spring semester.

For more information on becoming an Ambassador, contact Ambassadors President, Jessica Gradert by email at jgradert@k-state.edu or call the main office, (785) 532-6085.
