Prevent the Flu and Help Stop the Spread of Germs
  • Wash your hands with soap and water! Clean your hands after coughing or sneezing.
  • Stay home from work/school when sick!
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Put your used tissue in the waste basket.
  • If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

Lafene's flu vaccine supply has been depleted.

Watch for announcements regarding flu vaccine availability in Fall 2008.

More information about both types of vaccine, injectable (shot) and intranasal, is available at the Centers for Disease Control website. The CDC has additional information on:
• Persons at High Risk for complications from the Flu
• Preventing the Flu
• Cover Your Cough
• Key Facts about Influenza (Flu) Vaccine
