Several events are being planned throughout the week to celebrate World AIDS Day on December 1, 2008.

Dec. 1st: AIDS Walk & Memorial Service
Walk—Starts at 5:30 PM in Triangle Park, Aggieville and walk to Congregational Church, Poyntz Ave.
Memorial Service—7:30 PM at Congregational Church, Poyntz Ave

Dec. 2nd – 5th: AIDS Memorial Quilt on display
10 AM – 3 PM, K-State Union Courtyard

Dec. 4th: The Stigma and the Virus
Dusty Garner and Buck Rowland
7-9 PM, K-State Union Flint Hills Room

 December 9th: A Boy, A Girl and A Virus
Shawn and Gwenn speak about HIV/AIDS. He’s HIV positive, She’s not. They have been married for several years. Shawn & Gwenn speak about why's and how's of safer sex.
7:30 PM, K-State Union Forum Hall
