Minutes - April 6, 1999

The meeting was called to order at 7:08 P.M. in Rathbone Hall 274 by President John Blessing, NØYRL.

The minutes from the previous meeting were not read.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS - OPEN HOUSE

Our Open House location assignment in Rathbone Hall is uncertain. We have arranged for two tables and six chairs.

Open House equipment will include the Collins radios of Tony Sharp, NØJWP, SSTV (camera on the solar car Apollo), the R5 antenna, a longwire antenna, and Tony's tuner. Tony has 10, 15m and 20m dipoles, and Norm NØJCC may bring a longwire antenna.

Some members will meet at 9:30 A.M. on Friday before Open House to move and install the antennas.

It was uncertain whether Daniel Soldan, KBØOTV has been contacted about APRS.

A sound card will be needed for SSTV for Open House.

NEW BUSINESS

A motion was made to allocate $10 to help pay gasoline costs for a program presenter for the April 9 MAARS meeting. Motion passed.

Rod Blocksome in Iowa has a video on old Collins equipment that may be used for a program soon.

The meeting was adjourned eventually.

David Yoder, KAØJPM
secretary-treasurer
