Minutes - January 19, 1999


The meeting was called to order at 7:19 P.M. in Rathbone Hall 274 by President John Blessing, NØYRL.

The minutes from the previous meeting were not read.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

The pop machine is to be advertised for sale for $90.

NEW BUSINESS

The following officers were elected, and they assumed office immediately:

President - John Blessing, NØYRL

Secretary-Treasurer - David Yoder, KAØJPM

Station Manager - Bill Kuhn, KO4MH

Activities Manager - David Handlos, KBØKQY

Norm Dillman, NØJCC announced that there may be a no-code technician class this spring, provided that ten people enroll. Planned dates are Feb. 3, 6, 10, 17, 25, 27 and March 6, 11 and 17. Wednesday and Thursday classes will be from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday classes will be from 9 to 11 A.M.

Tony Sharp, NØJWP has agreed to chair an Open House committee. There was mention of these displays: Tony's Collins S Line in operation, Electrical Engineering's Collins radio, possibly SSTV, possibly APRS/GPS.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 P.M.
