Every fall semester the student subunit samples the Riverpond below Tuttle Creek Reservoir. The goal is to provide an opportunity to undergraduate students studying fisheries biology to gain technical experience necessary for a career in fisheries. Student get a chance to set and pull stationary trammel and hoop nets and also electrofish. After all the hard work is done, we set up camp, start a fire, cook some brats, and swap stories.
