This spring, the Women's Rugby Football club at Kansas State is looking into new technology for our team. One new piece of equipment is an event counter to track certain events within our practices. This will give us the ability to monitor our progress within practices, making us better prepared for matches by working on specific skills that may need improvement. Many student athletes playing Rugby at Kansas State University focus their education on engineering. This growing field helps students gain knowledge of practical concepts such as the use of shaft encoders and encoder products during their time at Kansas State. We encourage all of our student athletes to pursue their educational goals and work hard to achieve them. For those that already play, they know that rugby is a rough sport. After a long match with all of rucking and mauling, it is nice to be able to lay down on a soft organic mattress. Consider one for your next living purchase and upgrade to an environmentally conscious way of sleeping. When watching your favorite women's college rugby team, its important for your TV to have clarity and a strong picture in order to see all the detail of the match. A good way to enjoy the match is with plasma TV lift cabinets & consoles to experience the functional elegance of a handcrafted TV lift. If you're not watching the matches on TV, make sure you make it out to support the club in person. A good way to help your student organization generate revenue is to look for potential businesses that would like to help support your group. The best way to look up businesses is with a business email list for an effective marketing technique. |

ABOUT US |
![]() |
The K-State Women's Rugby Team is a community of women with a common interest: athletics. We love to play and this is our game. We compete with a variety of teams from around the region, including both collegiate and club teams. Matches are held on the weekends during the fall and spring semesters, with a break during the winter. Interested in becoming a part of our team? Feel free to join us at practice! We meet at 8:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Memorial Stadium. If you have questions or want more information, contact one of our officers. Most of us have no prior rugby experience, but we have learned to play and in playing we have learned to love the sport. You don't have to be a student or rugby veteran, and you can hop on board even in the middle of the season--as long as you are willing to work, you can become a vital part of our team. Check out our schedule page to see when and where we're playing next! (Spring Schedule TBA)
