KS-AFS 2007 Meeting
The 2007 meeting was held in Council Bluffs, Iowa as a joint effort with the Nebraska & Iowa AFS chapters.

Meeting Arrangements
President-elect Dan Mosier II (Kansas Wildlife & Parks) provided logistics for meeting activities and recognized Mark Flamming (Iowa Department of Natural Resources) for a great job in planning the tri-state meeting.

Student Scholarships
NCD Joan Duffy Travel Scholarship -

Harold Klaassen Undergraduate Student Scholarship - James Whitney (Emporia State University), $300 plus meeting expenses.

Otto Tiemeier/Frank Cross Graduate Student Scholarship - Jesse Fischer, (Kansas State University), $300 plus meeting expenses.

Student Subunit
The Kansas State Student Subunit brought 8 students to meeting. The subunit sold the Joe Tomelleri flathead catfish design (new for this year) t-shirts at the meeting. They were a great success with over 40 shirts sold. There are still shirts available from both last year's (southern redbelly dace) and this year's meeting at http://www.k-state.edu/ksuafs/shirts.shtml.

Jeff Eitzmann and Jesse Fischer were the raffle committee for the 2007 meeting. They obtained donations from Joe Tomelleri, Miller Net, Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, Coleman, Bushnell, Blakemore, Drop Zone, Smith Root, Wal Mart, and Pradco Fishing. In all over $500 was raised.
