2009 Kansas Natural Resources Conference - First Call for presentations!

This is the first call for oral and poster presentations for the Kansas Natural Resources Conference January 29-30, 2009 at the Airport Hilton in Wichita, Kansas. We invite oral and poster presentations by professionals and students on any natural resource-related topic of importance to Kansas and the region. Duffy student travel grant

The Kansas Chapter and North Central Division of the American Fisheries Society will sponsor a travel grant to this year's North Central Division fisheries meeting in Columbus, OH December 14-17, 2008.  The grant will cover up to $200.00 for travel expenses and registration.  Interested students should submit a one-page letter of application that includes present and past accomplishments, career goals, need and reasons for attending the meeting by November 14, 2008 to:
