Kansas Volunteer Commission
The Kansas Volunteer Commission (KVC) is a governor appointed commission that serves to promote and develop volunteerism throughout Kansas by connecting nonprofit organizations to each other while also providing resources and support to local service organizations and individuals. KVC strives to uphold the value of service and volunteering to all Kansans to effectively address community needs, respond to disasters and inspire a commitment of service to all citizens.
Kansas Leadership Center
The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) is a leadership development organization with the charge of cultivating civic leadership throughout Kansas. It is unique among leadership development organizations because of its statewide scope, focus on civic leadership and significant financial support.
Numana, Inc.
Numana, Inc. is a nonprofit hunger relief organization with the mission to empower people to save the starving. Through meal packaging events, Numana sends food to countries where intense insecurity exists. Great partnerships available!
Kansas Corps
Kansas Corps is a pool of student volunteers from Kansas colleges and universities who serve the community service needs of the state of Kansas. Kansas Corps serves as the coordinating agency that links various community service and volunteerism programs from Kansas higher education institutions for the direct purpose of serving the citizens of Kansas. This initiative does not create a new community service program, but rather links and builds upon the established programs across the state. The purpose of this program is to create a network of these various college programs that, when needed, can be called into action to serve the state.
