Dear Colleagues,

As Campus Compact turns 20, we want to personally invite you to join us for a two-day celebration of campuses and communities working together for a better society.

The event begins Monday, October 16, at Campus Compact’s 20th Anniversary Gala in Chicago, celebrating two decades of educating citizens and building communities. Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter will present the Carter Partnership Awards, honoring Illinois colleges and universities along with their community partners for addressing critical areas of public need.

The following day, October 17, we also invite you to be part of our 20/20 Visioning Summit to discuss ways higher education can best help society over the course of the next 20 years.

In addition to Rosalynn Carter (confirmed), invited are Senator John McCain; Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; and higher education, political, philanthropic, corporate, and community leaders from across the country.

The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago -http://mccormickplace.hyatt.com. Formal invitations to this celebration will go out in the near future.

Additional information can be found on the Campus Compact website at http://www.compact.org/20th. Registration begins April 1.
