3) Campus Compact to Help Katrina Rebuilding Efforts

From the national office of Campus Compact:
Hurricane Katrina’s catastrophic effects will be with us for many years to come, we need to be as creative as possible in shaping long-term teaching and learning programs that provide our students with multiple opportunities for deep learning, while simultaneously developing their skills as responsible and engaged citizens.

Campus Compact members have asked how they can help support the re-building efforts. The Compact’s Board is asking the membership to support recovery efforts in Louisiana with a $10.00 contribution, which will be reflected in the membership renewal invoice. This small investment will help strengthen infrastructure for Louisiana colleges and universities and ensure that all member campuses continue to receive programs and services.
