Friends of Konza Prairie Wildflower Walk

Description:
The Friends of Konza Prairie, through the Konza Environmental Education Program, annually offers a Wildflower Walk, the second Sunday in June, on Butterfly Hill Trail, an area generally not open to the public.

Join Konza Prairie Biological Station Naturalist, Dr. Valerie Wright, docents and researchers on a 2-mile guided hike of Butterfly Hill Trail.  At the peak of wildflower season, visitors often view more than 50 species of native tallgrass prairie plants blooming along the trail.

Beginning at 6:30 pm, Friends of Konza Prairie will offer merchandise for sale, including Konza Prairie t-shirts, hats, posters, mugs, and other items.

Per person fee supports the Konza Environmental Education Program.
No fee for Friends of Konza Prairie members and their immediate family only, as described by your membership level.
