Friends of Konza Prairie Presenter's Bureau

About the Presenter's Bureau

As a biological research station, Konza Prairie seeks to understand the vanishing tallgrass prairie ecosystem, its management and conservation.  Would your organization like to learn more?  Discover what the Friends of Konza Prairie Presenter's Bureau can share with your audience.

The Presenter's Bureau represents the Konza Environmental Education Program (KEEP) and Konza Prairie Biological Station at civic, professional, educational and public events.  Each year our docents, KEEP-trained community volunteers, provide educational presentations to dozens of people in Manhattan and surrounding communities.

The Presenter's Bureau is a free service through KEEP and Friends of Konza Prairie.

Interesting topics and engaging presentations educate and excite your group about the prairie.  Topics include:

Please identify other topics of special interest to your audience, so we may fully meet the expectations of your group.

The Presenter's Bureau presentations offer from twenty- to sixty-minutes of information about Konza Prairie and the tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Currently, presenters are willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of Manhattan, Kansas.

Most presentations are digital slideshows. Please research the equipment available at your meeting site before making a reservation.  The Presenter's Bureau can provide the following equipment, if necessary:
