Electronic submissions can be sent to royjbeckemeyer@cox.net with a cc to mrmoorejkes@gmail.com

Once your manuscript has been accepted, we will require that any electronic images, line art, halftones and color figures you are supplying as email attachments to include in the email a directory of the files.

You should discuss figure sizing specifications with the journal office prior to digital file submission.  The digital figures should be the final size desired, and all mounting should be done electronically.  The editorial office may also require proofs of the images to approve prior to submitting the files for processing.

Halftone and color images should be scanned at a minimum of 300 pixels per inch (ppi).  Line art should be scanned at 1200 ppi.  Please note that nearly all images that are downloaded from the Internet or that are in JPEG or GIF format will be 72 dpi and not acceptable for the printing process.

Digital color files must be submitted in CMYK mode.  Digital color proofs supplied with the file must be output in CMYK mode.

Instructions to Authors

Halftones should have end dot settings of 2% in the lightest area of the image and 98% in the darkest area of the image.

Indicate the file format of the graphics.  We accept TIFF or EPS format for both Macintosh and PC platforms.  We also accept image files in the following Native Application File Formats: Adobe Photoshop (.psd) and Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) (use Press setting under Job Option).

Include the screen and printer font tiles for any text that has been added to the figure.  PC or Macintosh versions of Adobe PostScript fonts should be used.  Do NOT use TrueType fonts.  Do NOT use system "bitmap" fonts.  To avoid font problems, convert all type to curves or paths
