Housing, Camping, and Dinning Information for LAJF'02

There are a variety of options for a place to stay in or near Manhattan, KS. Unfortunately, none of them are less than a 5-10 minute drive from the festival location. A limited amount of couch/floor space may be available as a very low-cost option, but please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested. Also, because of KSU Football and other events taking place the weekend of the festival, we recommend that you make hotel reservations or other plans as soon as possible. The following three hotels are the only ones not currently booked for the weekend.

Econolodge - 1501 Tuttle Creek Blvd., 785-539-5391
10 single or double rooms have been reserved at $45 a night. Just call at least a week prior to the festival and say that you're with the Little Apple Juggling Festival. Amenities include an outdoor pool and continental breakfast.

Super 8 - 200 Tuttle Creek Blvd., 785-537-8468 or 800-800-8000
A very limited number of rooms are still available at $124 a night. Amenities include continental breakfast and high-speed internet

Regency Inn - 419 Holiday Drive., 785-537-0630
A very limited number of rooms are available at $70 a night. Amenities include an indoor pool and continental breakfast.

Camping at Tuttle Creek Lake - Located very close to Manhattan and includes many different camping areas. The closest are the Rocky Ford area and the River Pond State Park (15-20 minute drive from the Rec Complex), both of which have showers and modern restrooms. Charges a small fee per vehicle per night. A map of the whole lake can be found here

Camping at Pottawatomie State Lake and Park 2 - Also located near Manhattan (20-25 minute drive from the Rec Complex) on Hwy 24. Camping is free but does not include showers or modern restrooms. Directions can be found here
