Request a shared account

Only faculty and staff (non-student employees) can request and be the owner of a shared account.

  1. Submit the Shared Account Request Form (eID sign in required).
  2. After submitting the request form, a full-time staff member at the IT Help Desk will approve or deny the request within 3 business days.
    • If approved, an approval email will be sent and a folder with the name of the shared eID will be added to each member's K-State Zimbra inbox.
    • If denied, the requester will receive an email from the IT Help Desk stating why the shared account was not approved.
