The K-State Zimbra Collaboration Suite is an integration of e-mail and calendaring that allows for easy collaboration with the sharing of e-mail inboxes, folders, address books, calendars, contacts, documents, briefcases and tasks.
K-State Zimbra was upgraded to version 7 on Sunday, Nov. 20. Notices will be posted on the IT Status page if any issues arise.

A new feature of K-State Zimbra are shared accounts (formerly group eID). A shared account allows several K-Staters, such as a college or department staff, to share a single K-State Zimbra account, which includes email, calendar, contacts, document, and more. Advantages of shared accounts include:

Zimbra allows you to collaborate with others by letting you share items such as folders, mailboxes, contacts, address books, calendars, documents, brief cases, and tasks. This sharing feature is very useful when you need to manage other's accounts but still use your own eID. To have several K-Staters share a single K-State Zimbra account, see shared accounts.
K-State Zimbra calendar objects are special e-mail accounts representing locations (rooms) and resources (equipment) that departments or organizations want to be available in K-State Zimbra for scheduling. See K-State Zimbra calendar objects for more information.
