Email Downloader
The Email Downloader Zimlet allows you to download a single e-mail as a ZIP file by dragging and dropping the e-mail message on the Email Downloader Zimlet. The downloaded file does not include attachments, but does contain the e-mail message and all it's headers, including those needed by K-State IT support groups for diagnosing problem e-mails. All downloads are in a TGZ file format which may require additional ZIP tools to unarchive the file.
- Enable the Zimlet prior to use.
- Click and drag an e-mail message over the Email Downloader Zimlet in the Zimlets toolbar on the left.
- When the border around the message turns green, drop the message on the Zimlet.
- Save the file to the desired saving location.
