There are a number of calendar related options that can be set in K-State Zimbra.
To begin, click the Options tab and then on the left, click Calendar.
Remember to click the Save button after you make any changes.
General Options
Default View - Select how you would like to view your Zimbra calendar. The default is by work week.
Start Week On - Specify which day should be the first day of the week in your calendar.
Default appointment visibility -This can be set to either Public (default) or Private. Regardless if marked Public or Private when created, no one can see the meeting details unless they are an invitee or you have shared the calendar with them. Changing the option to Private hides the appointment from others you have shared the calendar with.
Always show the mini-calendar - Specify whether the mini-calendar is displayed at the bottom of the Overview pane.
Automatically add received appointments to calendar - When this is checked, e-mail invitations sent to your Inbox are automatically added to your calendar. You can accept or decline the invite from either the Inbox or Calendar. When this is not checked, the appointment is added to your calendar when you click Accept or Tentative.
After responding to an invitation - Delete invite on reply - When this is checked, invitations are automatically deleted from your Inbox after you respond to the invite.
Show reminders - Set the number of minutes before an appointment to be reminded. The default is five minutes. In addition, you can set the type of alert to receive.
Creating Appointments
Use the QuickAdd dialog when creating new appointments - Specify whether to create new appointments using the QuickAdd dialog. This is often helpful if you create many appointments without attendees.
Show time zone list in appointment view - Select if you often schedule meetings with other in different time zones.
Permissions
Free/Busy - You can specify the type of users who can see your Free/Busy information (but not the details of that information). The default is to allow all users to see your free/busy information.
Invites - You can specify the type of users who can invite you to meetings. The default is to allow all users to invite you to meetings.
Send auto-reply to users who are denied from inviting me - When this is checked, users who try to invite you to a meeting will receive a reply that tells them they cannot nvite you to meetings.
