In order to keep pace with the growing threats in in cyber-space, Kansas State has adopted a myriad of policies and procedures for IT security. When these policies are followed by all faculty, staff and students it makes the entire computing community a safer place for everyone.
Many of the procedures that you'll find here, among the links to the left of the page, are designed to keep everyone informed about the steps that will be taken if there is a breach in K-State policy. These breaches are taken very seriously and are dealt with accordingly.
As with all of K-State policies, it is your responsibility to be familiar with the
IT Security policies and follow them carefully.
