Changing stored KSU Wireless password in Keychain Access

Mac users who experience wireless connectivity problems after changing their eID should change the eID password stored in Keychain Access on their Macs to their new eID password.

  1. Open Finder.
  2. On the Go menu, click Utilities.

  3. Double-click Keychain Access.app.

  4. Double-click the Network password for KSU Wireless or the Network password for KSU Housing entry.

  5. Select the Show password option.

  6. In the Password box, type your computer admin password and then click Allow.

  7. In the Show password box, select your old eID password and then type your new eID password.

  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. Turn the wireless off and back on:
    1. Click the AirPort symbol in the menu bar, and then click Turn AirPort Off.

    2. Click the AirPort symbol again, and then click Turn AirPort On.

    Note: If after following the above steps, your Mac fails to connect to the KSU Wireless or KSU Housing network, reboot your computer and try connecting again.
