Information Resources
Management Council
The Information Resource Management Council (IRMC) was created in August 1996 by Vice Provost Unger, and
was approved by the Committee of Deans. The purpose of the council is to develop information resource
policy, to interpret it, and to provide a vehicle for change of that policy.
Provost's Lecture Series
Established in 1995, the Provost's Lecture Series brings nationally known experts to campus to
discuss new strategies and technologies applicable to learning, as well as issues related to the
design of curriculum. The series features several speakers throughout the academic year.
