Student Technical Assistant
Hours per Week: 15-30
Wage: $7.25/hour
Job Description: Must be able to work during Winter break, summer months and school recesses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lab and tech classroom checks
- Resolve technical issues as discovered in labs
- Report environment issues to facilities
- Complete lab / TC check form for each site
- Work with full-time staff during room builds and lab imaging
- Maintain printers
- Report major issues to full-time staff
- Repair chairs when needed
- Keep inventory database correct with spot checks
- Coordinate hardware repairs with TSC and ITCS FTEs
- Assist in tech classrooms, when needed, to maintain 7 minute response time
