Network Operations Center Assistant

Information Technology Assistance Center of Kansas State University is seeking a Network Operations Center Assistant to work 10-30 hours a week in the Network Operations Center section.
Duties include:
  • Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Incident and Problem Management
  • Data Center Operational Support
  • Customer Service
  • Maintain shift logs and documentation as well as other duties that may arise.
Required qualifications
  • Experience with computers.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, breaks and summer months.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and help others.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
Preferred qualifications
  • Two years remaining at K-State
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Documentation and help-desk support skills.
