K-State Zimbra calendar objects are special e-mail accounts representing locations (rooms) and resources (equipment) that departments or organizations want to be available in K-State Zimbra for scheduling. They are, by default, visible to the entire university and can be invited to meetings. Calendar objects are created by K-State's calendar administrators upon requests. Calendar objects:
Note: If you have departmental rooms and equipment that you manage, but don't want those calendars visible to the entire university, you can create local calendar instances instead of global calendar objects. See Creating calendars for more information.
If you have questions about calendar objects, please e-mail the calendar administrator with your questions before registering for a calendar object, otherwise, follow the steps below to request the creation of a K-State Zimbra calendar object:
Note: Only faculty and staff members will be able to access the form.
Note: Locations are identified by building codes. Resources are identified by department or organization codes. If your building, department, or organization codes are not available on the appropriate list, close the browser without submitting the form and then e-mail caladmin@ksu.edu to request the addition of codes to the list(s).
