K-State Antivirus Migration for Windows Computers

Right click on the Trend icon in your system tray and select “OfficeScan Console”.



At the top of the console window click “Help” then “About”.


You should see the “About Trend Micro OfficeScan” screen.


If your “Server name/port:” setting indicates any of the following servers:

  • kswatos1.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.13.189
  • kswatos2.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.13.199
  • kswatos3.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.13.200
  • AV-OffCampus.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.180
  • AV-Campus01.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.182
  • AV-Campus02.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.183
  • AV-Campus03.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.184
You are still connected to one of the old servers and will be migrated. At some point over the next several days you may notice your Trend icon change and may receive a pop-up message that indicates you need to reboot your computer. No other action is required on your part, but the migration won’t be complete until the next time you reboot.
 

If your “Server name/port:” setting indicates any of the following servers:

  • KSU-OS01.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.187
  • KSU-OS02.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.188
  • KSU-OS03.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.189
  • KSU-OS04.ads.ksu.edu -- or -- 129.130.255.190
You are already connected to one of the new servers. If your Trend antivirus is functioning correctly you are done.
 

If your “Server name/port:” setting indicates any other server than those listed above, you are connected to a departmental server and will not be affected by this migration.
