K-State Antivirus Migration for Macintosh Computers

Click on the Trend icon in your menu bar and select “Open Trend Micro Security”.


You should see the “Trend Micro Security” screen.


If your “Parent Server:” setting indicates any of the following servers:

  • KSWATOS1
  • KSWATOS2
  • KSWATOS3
  • AV-OffCampus
  • AV-Campus03
You are still connected to one of the old servers and will be migrated. At some point over the next several days your Trend icon should disappear out of your menu bar. This indicates that you need to reboot your computer. No other action is required on your part, but the migration won’t be complete until the next time you reboot.
 

If your “Parent Server:” setting indicates any of the following servers:

  • KSU-OS01
  • KSU-OS02
  • KSU-OS03
  • KSU-OS04
You are already connected to one of the new servers. If your Trend antivirus is functioning correctly you are done.
 

If your “Parent Server:” setting indicates any other server than those listed above, you are connected to a departmental server and will not be affected by this migration.
