Basic Language Training (BLT)
The Basic Language Training Program is a series of non-credit language courses that
are offered during both the fall and spring semesters and each class is taught by
a native speaker. The student instructors teach the basics of their language and also
explore the culture and history of their home country with their students. The classes
occur over the course of six weeks and meet twice per week for an hour each session
for a total of 12 classes.
The languages offered each semester vary and there is an enrollment fee of $25 per
person for each 6 week course. The Spring 2013 Basic Language Training program will
begin on February 4th and run through March 15th.
