Reservations for use of the International Student Center (ISC) must be made by a representative of the sponsoring organization who will serve as the liaison with International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). Consideration of each request is based the timing of the event in relation to other activities and events; the ability of staff to accomodate your request; and the suitability of the event with regard to the safety and security of the facility, it's contents and participants.

1. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. A signed contract and deposit must be received in order to secure your reservation. Cancellations must be filed at least 48 business hours in advance of the scheduled event. If you cancel later that 48 hours, any fees paid will be forfeited or you will receive an invoice for the total charges stated on the contract.

   Rental fees are as follows:
   Registered student groups:	$7.50/hour
   Non-registered groups:	$15/hour
   Cleaning Deposit:	$25
   Microphone and amp:	$15

2. Room rental arrangements can be made in-person through ISSS during regular business hours. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may also complete this form online by visiting our web site at http://www.k-state.edu/isss/ and clicking on Services and then ISC Room Rental.
3. Any student or group wishing to reserve the multipurpose room past normal operating hours must make their request AT LEAST two (2) weeks in advance in order to have your request considered. Such requests are approved on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the availability of our night staff. The ISSS reserves the right to deny any such requests. There is a standard charge of $15.00/hour for each hour the room is reserved past normal operating hours.
4. Groups or individuals will not be refunded usage fees for unused time. In addition, a group or individual going over an allotted reservation time will be charged additional fees.
5. Allfees must be paid to the ISSS within 21 days of receipt of invoice. Failure to make payment will result in suspension of future building usage privileges.
6. A cleaning deposit is required for all users of the International Student Center in order to confirm your reservation. Cash deposits must be picked up from the ISSS within 21 days of receipt of invoice or the cash will be forfeited. Deposit checks must also be picked up within 21 days of receipt of invoice or they will be shredded.
7. You are required to check in and out with the building supervisor. The user (or a designated representative) must be present at all times. It must be clear to the building supervisor who is in charge of the organization's activity or event.
8. Any student or group wishing to use the room for food events, food sales, or food festivals that will be open to the public must make their reservations at least two weeks in advance and must contact Ron Bridges (rondbrid@ksu.edu) in the University’s Environmental Health and Safety office to have their menu approved. Your reservation will not be guaranteeduntil after Mr. Bridges has approved your event.
9. User is responsible for setting up any tables and chairs needed for the event and also for properly storing them afterwards.
10. No furniture may be removed or placed outside of the building.
11. No decorations are allowed on the walls of the Multipurpose Room.
12. No frying of food of any kind is allowed in the kitchen. (This creates large amounts of smoke in the building and will set off the fire alarm, which brings the fire department.)
13. Children must be supervised at all times by an adult from the group.
14. Kansas State University prohibits the consumption of alcohol, tobacco or controlled substances as well as the use of candles in both the building and on surrounding grounds.

Terms of agreement:

User agrees to assume full responsibility for any and all damages and/or misuse of the facility which may occur during the specified lease period.

User agrees to pay in full all damages, excess cleaning charges and/or other misuse fees determined to be the responsibility of the user, including any equipment use. Failure to make prompt payment of charges will result in suspension of future building use privileges.

Appeal of any additional fees must be presented to ISSS within 1 week of notification of the fee.

User agrees to release Kansas State University, its officers, employees and agents from all claims for any injury, bodily harm or property damage arising from use of the facility.

I have read and understand the terms of this agreement and the rules for use of the ISSS and in consideration of being allowed such use, on behalf of the above-named organization I agree to abide by all of its terms and conditions.
