Sara originally grew up in a small town in Wisconsin.  She has worked in international education her whole professional career with employment at Roosevelt University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison before coming to K-State in 2008.  She loves traveling, salsa dancing, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.  Besides studying in Spain twice, she has traveled to Mexico on numerous occasions, Italy on 3 occasions, Austria, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, The Netherlands, Peru, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.  She is the proud wife to Oscar and a proud mother to Frida!
