If you have any questions, or get any errors during the installation process,
please call the ITAC Help Desk at 785-532-4918.

Pre-installation
  1. Click here to download the DARwin 3.5.3 installation (.zip) file. Save the file to a temporary location (such as your desktop or temporary file folder).

  2. Use the Windows' "Control Panel" and select "Add or Remove Programs", and then remove/uninstall the "Darwin 3.0" program.

It is extremely important that you follow the remaining instructions below, as there are some configuration changes with this new client installation...

Installation
  1. Unzip the DARwin 3.5.3 file downloaded in step 1 and extract the files to a temporary location.

  2. The install folder should contain three files:
    - DARwin3.5.3_install_run_first.exe
    - DARwin3.5.3_run_second.exe
    - Important_Readme.htm

  3. Double-click on the DARwin3.5.3_install_run_first.exe, accept all the default installation settings and proceed with the install (if you have trouble installing the client, make sure that you have extracted the files and saved them to a temporary location in step 3).

  4. After the first file is installed, double-click on the DARwin3.5.3_run_second.exe, accept all the default unzip settings and unzip the file.

  5. At this point, the installation of the client is complete.
