ISA- Fun Cricket Tournament

Starting June 12th, the ISA will organize the “Summer cricket tournaments 2010” which is a two part series of TOTAL cricket. First is the “FUN CRICKET TOURNAMENT” where teams of 6 players (with a minimum of one girl per team) compete against each other in a modified form of cricket, followed by the “ISA CUP”.

This year we attempt to make the whole tournament, spectator friendly. All players will don coloured T-shirts, making it easier for the spectators to differentiate each team. Scoreboards to help everyone follow the proceedings of the game and all games will be played between 6:30pm-10pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between June 12th – July 3rd, and that too under lights…making it all the more exciting.

Finally, we have tweaked the rules a little to make sure that both guys and girls have an even footing in the game (unlike in previous editions of the game). We hope that the timings, venue, aesthetics and rules of this tournament will please every one of you and that you will all come to take an active part in this whole event.

Even if you are not a player, you could come to watch the game for different reasons: Support and cheer your friends who are playing. Enjoy the summer evenings watching different people play a game of fun cricket. Showcase your creativity in coming up with different slogans and screaming them during play. Finally, If not for anything, show up for some free refreshments and taunt the players and have some fun!!!
