Starting July 10th 2009, the ISA will organize the “ISA CUP 2009”. This year we attempt to make the whole tournament, spectator friendly. All players are don coloured T-shirts representing their teams, making it easier for the spectators to differentiate each team. Scoreboards to help everyone follow the proceedings of the game and all games will be played between 7:30pm-11pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between July 10th –August 02nd, and that too under lights…making it all the more exciting. Finally, we have tweaked the rules a little. We hope that the timings, venue, aesthetics and rules of this tournament will please every one of you and that you will all come to take an active part in this whole event. Even if you are not a player, you could come to watch the game for different reasons: Support and cheer your friends who are playing. Enjoy the summer evenings watching different people play a game of cricket. Showcase your creativity in coming up with different slogans and screaming them during play. Finally, If not for anything, show up for some free refreshments and taunt the players and have some fun!!!

Some of the rules have been changed from previous years, so please have a look at the Rules page.

Instead of a 18 over game, this year it is going to be a 20 overs an innings.

There is also a change in the way the power play is going to be used.
