FUNDRAISING

- Students work with the KSU Foundation in raising money from individuals, corporations, and charitable foundations to support Invest-a-Cats charitable activities.
- A student fundraising committee exists to manage the process of raising funds.

INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

Students are responsible for managing all assets held in the Invest-a-Cats quasi-endowed account through the KSU Foundation.
- A student investment management committee exists to oversee the investment management process.
- Students use an Investment Policy Statement to guide their management of assets.
- Mutual funds and Exchange Traded Funds are the primary investments of choice.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND DISTRIBUTIONS
 |
- A student committee exists to determine the most appropriate use of earnings and other distributions from the managed account.
- Continuity of student goals is assured by having a senior student chair the committee with a sophomore or junior serving as a co-chairperson.
