Overview
Computing and Telecommunications Services provides voice services to faculty, stafff, and students at Kansas State University.  To report problems with administrative phones or services, call 532-7111.  Residence hall students should report phone problems to their hall staff or building maintenance personnel.

 

Campus Ring System
The Campus Ring System is different from conventional ring systems. On-campus calls are designated by a single ring.  These are calls from other residence halls and campus offices.  Off-campus calls are designated by a double ring.

Throughout this site reference will be made to the button.  On some phones the button is labeled TAP or is labeled with a lightning bolt or other similar symbol.  If your phone does not have such a key, the function may be performed by depressing the switch hook (the button or holder where the handset rests) for approximately one half-second and then releasing it.

 

Abuse

Abuse of telephone service may constitute telephone harassment or other prosecutable offenses.
