Personal Computer Repair
Here's how to obtain service from the Technology Service Center for your personally owned computing equipment.
Services
- PC and Macintosh maintenance and repair, plus repair of printers, monitors, and peripherals
- Warranty repairs and authorized service on Dell and Apple Macintosh computers
- Sales and installation of individual parts and software
Rates
- The standard labor rate for personally owned equipment is $55 per hour.
- All repairs not covered by a manufacturers warranty are subject to a half-hour minimum charge. You will be contacted prior to any charges being incurred beyond the half-hour minimum.

Process to request personal computer repair
- Read a description of services available and your
responsibilities.
- Review the Terms and Conditions.
- Take your computer to one of these locations:
- Technology Service Center, 121 East Stadium
- IT Help Desk, 214 Hale Library
- Union Computer Store, 115 K-State Student Union
- If you are at one of the listed locations and agree to the Terms and Conditions, submit a
request for personal computer repair.

One customer-parking space is located at the south end of East Stadium for customers.
The other nearest parking spaces are in the K-State Student Union and West Stadium parking lots.
