Computer Repair

Client Services (formerly the Technology Service Center) is a part of the Information Technology Assistance Center and provides computer and peripheral repair services to the campus community.

Computer repair now at 214 Hale Library K-State's computer repair service is in its new home at 214 Hale Library. Customers can stop by the IT Help Desk for first contact and assistance. Payment for personal computer repairs now requires a credit card, debit card, or CatCash. Payment types for departmental computer repairs have not changed.

Services

1. PC and Macintosh maintenance and repair
2. Warranty repairs and authorized service on Dell and Apple Macintosh computers
3. Sales and installation of computer parts and software
4. Printer maintenance and repair
5. Repair monitors and peripherals
6. Pick-up and delivery service available for university departments

Rates

For this equipment/service	Rates
University-owned computers	Standard labor rate is $40 per hour
Personally owned computers	Labor rate is $55 per hour
Server maintenance and repair	Charge is $65 per hour
Emergencies outside normal business hours	Staff are available at $90 per hour
