previous ones have been installed. It's not unusual to have to download updates and restart your computer multiple times.
- After restarting, open a new browser window to continue the Network access process.
Install Service Pack 2
These instructions are written assuming you are running Windows Professional XP, with Service Pack 2 already installed.
If you do not have Service Pack 2 installed:
- Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx.
- In the lower right-hand corner, click Download SP2 from Microsoft Update.

Note: Microsoft no longer provides updates for Windows 98, 98SE, ME, and NT. Therefore, K-State does not support these operating systems on the network. You must run at least Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2, or MAC OS X to connect to the K-State network.
