Media Development Center Classes

  • Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in these hands-on classes. Participants do not need to enroll: just come to the Media Development Center, 213 Hale Library at the dates/times below.

Making a Podcast

This class will give patrons the basic techniques for making a podcast using Garageband.

Intro to iLife

 This class will help patrons understand the basics of iLife and how the different programs interact with each other on the Mac.

Intro to DreamWeaver MX

This class will show students the basics of web design. It will cover the different parts of a webpage and how to upload the site to K-States personal-pages server.

Intro to InDesign

 This class will teach the basics of the layout program InDesign. The instructor will show participants how to build a poster/flier using the commands in the program.
