“Tyler Traxson is being nominated for his work on developing, creating, and producing Wildcat Watch, a student centered K-State TV program to inform students about campus events, activities and issues. The development of Wildcat watch exemplifies innovation. Using existing and innovative methods he has taken a concept and developed it into an informative and entertaining program. Twelve programs aired during the inaugural Fall 2008 semester, covering such topics as the tornado recovery efforts and the KSU parking structure. With his knowledge of the ever-expanding access to the World Wide Web, Tyler has increased the global reach of K-State by placing the segments out there for access by the world. From scripting, editing, auditioning talent, hiring and mentoring student producers, Tyler has been the driving force in putting together a high quality program.”
