"With every decision, and every change in the organization, Fred asked one question of everyone, 'What is best for K-State?' That is how he made decisions. Throughout his tenure, Fred was called upon to use the Telecom and then the CTS monies to fund important ventures at K-State. These included the iTAC, the data center generator, technology classrooms, wiring closets, networks for departments and offices that couldn't afford the project and others beyond those listed."
