The 2005-06 Federal Financial Aid Regulatory Update Team organized to implement the Federal regulatory update process as they do every year, but this year was different.  The team organized themselves to implement the annual updates provided by the U.S. Department of Education and coordinate with several other outside agencies.  This year’s updates were implemented without errors and allowed K-State to be the first university in the state to award federal financial aid for the 2005-2006 academic year.  The excellent working relationship that this team exhibited allowed for the successful implementation.  This cooperation made it possible to award over $100M in federal aid to K-State students.
