Mark is an absolute pleasure to work with and a true team member and leader.  He led the Financial Technical Team of the LASER project.  His sense of humor many times kept this project team on task in the face of nearly insurmountable obstacles.  He goes well beyond reasonable expectations in getting the job done.  Mark is completely capable of identifying and developing workarounds to fill the gaps of a system and meet K-State’s business needs.  He consistently provides a high level of output and top level expertise; with just the right amount of humor mixed in to make the job even easier.  Mark demonstrates an excellent balance of technical knowledge and people skills.  He is respectful of others and always willing to consider their points of view.  He is dependable and task oriented.  Mark is one of our stars and extremely deserving of this award.
