Richard has been involved with the daily maintenance and operational support of K-State’s network infrastructure for over 15 years. The campus network as it operates today, is the fruit of Richard’s labor and leadership. We have Richard to thank for the remarkable reliability of the campus network, both wired and wireless. Richard is also recognized as one of the top network expert in the state through his direct work with KanRen and the Great Plains Network. One reference said, “…I could go on and on about Richard. There is no one who works harder, is more dedicated or cares more about the quality of his work. If the IT Gold award is about someone who exhibits the ‘whole package’… I can honestly say…there is no one who deserves this award more.
