About K-State Zimbra

A December 2007 campus-wide survey, Upgrade K-State, showed a clear desire from all K-State constituents for an integrated e-mail and calendaring solution. After a spring 2008 extensive needs analysis was completed, Zimbra was chosen to replace the enterprise e-mail and calendaring systems because it most effectively meets the needs requested by K-State students, faculty, and staff.

K-State switched to the Zimbra Collaboration Suite for enterprise e-mail May 2009 and implementation planning for Zimbra calendaring will take place in Fall 2009.
