deadbolt lock, and an electronic touch panel. The touch panel
is located just inside the door of the room. Upon entering a
continuous beep will sound for 17 seconds. That is the time
during which you will need to deactivate the security alarm. With
the door closed behind you, enter the four digit code that you were
issued. This should silence the beeping and deactivate the security
system. If the code does not work, press the # symbol followed
by your code. If you mistake a key while entering your code,
simply hit # and re-enter your code.
To activate the system, be sure that all windows are closed and locked. Be sure to have the door closed or you will need to start over. Enter your four digit code, exit the room quickly, (remember you have only 17 seconds), and lock the deadbolt behind you. You will here a series of short beeps followed by several staccato beeps during the last few seconds. If you hear these last beeps and are still in the room, re-enter your code (to disarm the system) and then attempt to re-activate the system. Do not share your code with anyone.
