Start-Up for K106

1. Podium-needed for any activity
   • Unlock 3 locks-Steps (1A-1C) Lock 1C on left side
   • Podium power remains on at all times. If power is off, the power switch is located at the bottom of the podium in the center
2. Using the Room Lighting-get better visibility of display
   • Preset dims 1-4 (4 lowest), press numbered switches
   • Rheostat bottom switch (up to brighten, down to dim)
3. Using the microphones
   • Podium mic-push red LED button
   • Wireless mic (found in top drawer)-turn switch on
4. Using the Projector
   • Lower room lights to view projector bulb
   • Press surface of Crestron display panel
5. Using/Projecting the Computer
   • Press the "PC" button on the Crestron display
     1. PC should be on. If monitor is black, move mouse
     2. Press "Out to Projector" to display to class
   • MAC (use bottom keyboard)
     1. Turn on MAC; press button on the Crestron display
     2. Press "Out to Projector" to display to class
6. Using the (VP) Visual Presenter (ELMO) to show hard copy
   • Turn on VP
   • Raise camera arm & lights
   • Press the "Document Camera" button on the Crestron display
   • Press "Out to Projector" to display to class
7. Using the DVD-to show DVD
• Turn on DVD "Power"
• Press the "DVD" button on the Crestron display
• Press "Out to Projector" to display to class

Shut-Down for K106

End of class-prepare for next person-needed if equipment was used

1. If used DVD Player
   • Eject DVD
   • Turn off DVD player "Power" button
2. If used ELMO
   • Turn off Document Camera
   • Lower lights & camera arm
3. If used Viewing Monitor-Turn off, press the "Power" button
4. Computer shut-down
• If used PC-PC-On bottom menu bar-Select: Start-->Shut Down-->Restart the Computer-->Yes
  1. If a MAC user follows your class, follow the procedure-On bottom menu bar-Select: Start-->Shut Down-->Shut Down the Computer-->Yes
• Replace wireless mouse in cradle/charger
• If used MAC-Click "Special" select "Shut Down"
  1. If a PC user follows your class, please turn on power to PC
5. Turn off Projector Press "Exit the System " button on Crestron Display
6. Turn off microphones (podium button 3A and/or wireless switch 3B)
7. Put Away All Remotes
8. Podium
   • Lock 3 locks-Steps (1A-1C)
9. Lighting turn off lights if no class following
10. Hotline-Get Help-Phone in bottom of podium
