Start-Up for EH021

1. Podium-needed for any activity
   • Unlock cabinet
   • Podium Power remains on at all times. If power is off, power switch is located in the center of the cabinet
2. Using the Room Lighting-get better visibility of display
   • Light switches are to the left of the entry door
   • Top switch controls front half of room
   • Bottom switch controls back half of room
3. Using the Projector

• Press "display power" button on the Media Link control
• Select the correct button on the Media Link for the device in use (PC, VCR, Document Camera or Laptop)

• Using/Projecting the Computer
  • PC
    1. Press the PC button on the Extron Media Link Controller
    2. PC should be on. If monitor is black, move mouse
• Using the (VP) Visual Presenter (ELMO) to show hard copy

• Raise camera arm and lights
• Turn on VP
• Press the "Document Camera" switch on the Media Link Controller

• Using the DVD Player- to show DVD
  • Turn on DVD Player "Power"
  • Select the "DVD or VCR" button on the Media Link

Shut-Down for EH021

End of class-prepare for next person-needed if equipment was used

1. If used DVD Player
• Eject DVD
• Turn off DVD "Power"
2. If used VP
   • Turn off VP
   • Lower lights & camera arm
3. Computer shut-down
   • Replace wireless mouse in cradle/charger
   • PC-Leave on (Go to Start-->Shut Down--> Restart the Computer-->Yes)
4. Turn off Projector Press "Display Power" button on Media LInk and hold for two seconds, then release
5. Put Away All Remotes-Be sure Gyromouse is properly seated in its cradle
6. Podium
   • Lock Podium
7. Lighting turn off lights if no class following, and lock the door after entering security code
8. Hotline-Get Help-Phone on bottom right shelf
   • Dial 2-5798
