Start-Up for DF134

1. Podium-needed for any activity
   • Unlock 8 locks-Steps (1A-1H)
   • Podium Power remains on at all times. If power is off, power switch is located in the middle lower cabinet
2. Using the Room Lighting-get better visibility of display
   • Turn on desired lighting
   • Front and back light switch (2) suggested
   • (1) can lights along glass wall
   • (2) surrounding hollow spot front
   • (3) hollow spot front
   • (4) surrounding hollow spot back
   • (5) hollow spot back
3. Using the microphones
   • Wireless mic located in remote box
   • Turn switch on top of mic ON
4. Using the Projector

• Press "display power" button on the Media Link control
• Select the correct button on the Media Link t applies to the device in use (PC, VCR, Document Laptop, Camera)

• Using/Projecting the Computer
  • PC
    1. Press the PC button on the Extron Media Link Controller
    2. PC should be on. If monitor is black, move mouse
• Using the (VP) Visual Presenter to show hard copy

• Raise camera arm and lights
• Turn on VP
• Press the "Document Camera" switch on the Media Link Controller

• Using the DVD Player- to show DVD
  • Turn on DVD "Power"
  • Select the "DVD or VCR" button on the Media Link

Shut-Down for DF134

End of class-prepare for next person-needed if equipment was used

1. If used DVD player
   • Eject DVD
   • Turn off DVD "Power"
2. If used VP
   • Turn off VP
   • Lower lights & camera arm
3. Computer shut-down
   • Replace wireless mouse in cradle/charger
   • PC-On bottom menu bar-Select: Start-->Shut Down-->Restart the Computer-->Yes
4. Turn off Projector Press "Display Power" button on Media Link and hold for two seconds, then release
5. Put Away All Remotes
6. Podium
   • Shut drawers and cabinets-Steps (1A-1H)
7. Lighting turn off lights
8. Hotline-Get Help-Phone in cabinet
   • Dial 2-5798
